World AIDS Day
December 1, 2020
Every year on December 1, people around the world unite for World AIDS Day to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS.
When you make a donation in honor of World AIDS Day, you will receive special commemorative keepsakes including a red lapel ribbon (donations of $5 or more) to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and our annual limited-edition holiday ornament (donations of $25 or more).
We also invite you to view our video montage of Memory Lane, made in memory of loved ones lost to AIDS.
We encourage you to write your own message of support or remembrance on the Facebook event page for World AIDS Day.
That evening, tune in at 6:00 p.m. for a virtual reading of “Despite These Marks”, an original devised play chronicling the effects of the HIV stigma in America. Register and learn more about this here.
