Now that the Assembly and Senate have release their One-House Budget bill proposals we want to ensure to keep the noise up as they go into negotiations with the Executive for the enacted budget. To that end we are starting another Salsa letter campaign to thank the Senate and Assembly for their leadership in rejecting the Governor’s proposal and to remind them to continue to advocate for the restoration of the budget cut in the enacted budget. We are also asking them to adopt the Senate language for HHCM inclusion in the 3.2% COLA.

This letter can be adjusted so responders can share successes of the program and/or how the community/district would specifically be impacted should this cut go through.
