Holiday Angel Program
Do you remember last year's holiday season? Your schedule was tight, your budget tighter and time – who has time or money to take on one more project? Our Holiday Angels did! They helped fill the needs of ACR Health’s clients...they shopped for basic needs items to help our clients have a warm winter...and gifts to unwrap. A few of our Angels from last year...
ACR Health's Holiday Angel program pairs up clients with community Angels - individuals, couples, families, friends, co-workers, school classes, church groups, etc - who help brighten the upcoming holiday season for those ACR Health serves. With our expanded services to include in addition to HIV/AIDS, other chronic diseases, the number of clients and family members we serve has expanded also. Most come to us because they lack health insurance; sometimes they have no place to live, or money for medications. In the past “Angel donations” may have been the only gifts our clients received during the Holidays.
You can select to be an Angel to an individual or a family and the size of the family. We will pair you up with a client's needs list...usually very basic items such as bedding, winter clothes, cooking utensils, towels, etc. We'll send the list to you as new, wrapped and tagged with the first names provided along with their client number.
Some Angel groups have a Holiday & Gift Wrapping Party...making it a fun event and helping someone at the same time.
